To verify
- Auto-unpin on "Show until" — set a near-past/near-future date and confirm the post unpins itself automatically when the date passes, without manual action
- Home announcements block — confirm it appears after publishing, and that clicking it opens the actual post on the forum (per the approved approach — no separate detail page on the portal)
- Separation from Community Updates — Announcements posts must NOT also appear in the Community Updates block on Home
- Author attribution — both the forum post and the Home block should show the real person's name (e.g. "Nataly Vn"), not "Admin" / "Performance Portal"
- Posting permissions — confirm a regular center user (not 4US) cannot publish a post in the Announcements category
- No announcements published yet — Home should not render an empty announcements block before the first post is published
- Unread badge on the Community nav item — appears on new announcement, updates/clears after reading
- Read state is per user — log in as two different users from the same center and confirm each has their own unread status
- No email notifications — confirm nothing is sent by email when an Announcement is published
- Search/filtering — Announcements posts should be findable via the forum's normal search/filters (no separate archive, per spec)
- Excerpt truncation — for a long post body, confirm the collapsed bar's "one-line excerpt" truncates correctly
